Declan Noone worked with the Irish Haemophilia Society (IHS) for the last 8 years as Data and Public Policy Specialist.  The main responsibilities in involved membership of the National tender board for the purchase of products for the treatment of haemophilia and other related conditions. He also worked on the area of Hepatitis C and access to treatments.   He currently works with the EHC as Project consultant on the PARTNERs Programme as well as other projects relating to haemophilia.

He has previously sat on the WFH Board of Directors and was a member of the Educational Materials Committee, Data and Demographics Committee and Safety and Supply Committee. He was also chair of the EHC Data and Economics Committee. He has co-authored papers on the quality of life in people with haemophilia, access to haemophilia care in Europe and the WFH and EHC Monographs.  His BEng. and a MEng. Mechanical Engineering, and is currently finishing an MSc. in Health Economics.
